Sorry for the missing post yesterday. Traveling can be hectic and trying to add some time to do a shoot, well that can make things even more chaotic.
I hate being the bearer of bad news, but I am without a new outfit to post for yet another day.. but fret not my friends.. I have collected a bunch of
Pinterest pins of styles and outfits that I am obsessing over... seriously. Check them out, and if you have a few similar pieces, copy it! There is no shame in being an outfit stealer.. I do it well, and I do it often!
1.) Sailor Stripes and a Cute Skirt:
I love how lady-like this is, plus I am a fan of anything with a nautical vibe. Throw some red or gold in there and it will give it a fun pop of color! You can never go wrong with stripes!
2.) Floral Printed Denim with a Army Jacket:
Jules does a great job of combining two of falls hottest trends together without making it look overdone. All of her accessories match and her loose fitting jacket compliments her fitted jeans. Try to have one fitted piece of clothing for each outfit. For example, if you have a flowy maxi shirt, or a boyfriend pair of jeans, pair it with a fitted, flattering top. If you are wearing super skinny jeans, wear a cute baggy top.
3.) Casual Aztec Cardigan with a Graphic Tee:
I don't know what it is about this outfit that I love. Maybe its the fact that she is being trendy while still being herself. That is always something important to remember when picking out new clothing. Chose something that is you, don't try to be someone you are not. Also, if you are going to wear baggy cardigans, glam it up by pairing it with a few trendy accessories. Her necklace, bangles and thick bracelets add a touch of sophistication to her "hipster" ensamble. This beautiful girl proves that you can be fashionable yet, comfortable at the same time.
4.) Polka Dots and Coral:
Okay, there is one specific reason why I think this outfit is a great fashion inspiration.. and no, its not the polka dots... Let me explain. I am around 5'8 and whenever I find a cute dress, its usually WAY too short. It seriously drives me crazy. This girl takes a top, that could easily be a shorter girl's dress, and rocks it with skinnies, a cardigan, and the cutest color scarf I have ever seen. I think all of us tall girls with short dresses can learn something from this. Don't be afraid to try a shorter dress as a tunic. Make it more flattering with a cute jacket, a thick leather belt, scarfs, trench coats, ect. Get creative! And... since I mentioned it, the polka dots do actually make it pretty cute as well ;)
5.) The Classic Fashionista Uniform; Dark jeans and a white Button-Up:
Okay, the title says it all. This is such a classic, timeless style. Dark jeans and a white button up. Every women should have something similar in their wardrobe. Whether your jeans are a boot cut, straight, flare, or skinny, a dark wash denim can do so much for your shape. They are flattering, they hide random spills collected through the day, and they look great with about any type of top. A white blouse can be versatile too. You can have a fitted, tailored type or a flowy bohemian look (what she is wearing). You may find some with studs, gold buttons, colored trim, or just plain white. All of those options are fine as long as they are what you like best. This is a fashion-fail-proof outfit that works for any casual occasion. High school girls could wear it, any women from her 20's-60's, and even a senior citizen might have a version that she will rock... either way, don't forget this look when you are in a fashion crisis.

For those of you who are DYING to see more of my style creations, I should have some more pictures of my outfits up by tomorrow!
xoxo
P.S. Only one more day till the weekend. Hang in there everybody!
